A little strange idea

We are an architectural design firm based in Toyama City.

The theme is "A little strange ideas"

It's about looking at the everyday things we take for granted and the conditions of the site from a slightly different angle.

We strive to find the "questions" that exist and derive special "answers (spaces)" that are unique to each project.

Hamlet

The home features a small, close-knit roof facade reminiscent of a small village, and a one-room space that brings the family together. Taking advantage of its location facing a park, the home combines a friendly appearance with a sense of openness. This is a renovation of the headquarters of a local television station, with each floor having its own unique theme. Each floor features a different design, such as a space for interaction open to the public and a work area with a variety of workspaces to choose from. This creates an environment that fosters co-creation and flexible working styles. View more …

This eyewear shop feels like a friend's home, and anyone can drop in anytime. The interior is furnished with sofas and potted plants, creating a living room-like atmosphere where you can leisurely choose your glasses while sipping coffee. Lath kitchen

生米パンをはじめ、体に優しいパンやお菓子を製造・販売するキッチンをデザインしました。
コストを抑えながらも自然素材にこだわり、本来は壁の下地となる「胴縁」を用いて壁面や天井を構成。建築の下地材が持つ素地の温かみと、ここで作られる素朴なパンの印象を呼応させています。
カウンターはあえて用途を限定せず、日常的な製造作業から、販売、飲食、料理教室まで多目的に活用できるよう計画しました。
小さいながらも、「用途の曖昧さ」をテーマに取り組んだプロジェクトです。

Game Market 2025秋

ブースのデザインを担当しました。
今年はドイツのゲーム大賞を受賞した作品の販売や、ブース配置が会場の端であること、前日撮影ができないことなどがあり、視認性と効率化に注力したデザインにしました。
イベントは開幕と同時��に大行列、あまりの人気に圧倒されました。結果的にデザインの目的は無事に達成することができたようです。
そして、ボードゲームの世界の熱狂の一端に触れられたことが、また一つ良い経験に繋がりました！

Hamlet

「Hamlet」とは「小集落」を意味する言葉です。
本計画は比較的大きな家々が立ち並ぶ住宅街に立地し、河川を挟んで公園に面しています。地域の人々や子どもたちが利用する公園に対して圧迫感が少なく親しみやすい外観とするため、住まいを単一の大きなヴォリュームとしてではなく、ヒューマンスケールな家々の集合体として再構築することを試み、高さ・大きさの異なる小さな屋根が身を寄せ合う、親しみ深い集落のような佇まいとしました。
一方その内部空間はすべてが緩やかに繋がった一室空間（ワンルーム）となっています。これは家事、育児、団欒といった生活のすべてをリビングで完結させたいという要望や、畳・ソファの両方でくつろぐ家族が親密な距離感で過ごせるように配慮したことで生まれた空間構成です。高低差が異なる屋根の構成にハイサイドライトを設けることで、それらの空間の隅々にまで自然光を届けることができています。
また、公園との関係性について、公園に面する開口部の高さを抑え、そこにデスクやベンチなどの機能を持たせ、デッキと連続させることで、公園とのつながりを持った中間領域的な家族の居場所を生み出しています。
集落のような親密さと、ワンルームの開放感、そして家族の居場所を各所に設けることで、「Hamlet」は豊かな生活の背景となる場をつくり出しています。

井波でのワークショップ3日目

今回はいよいよ完成に向けてのラストスパートでした。
箪笥を脚に見立てた高さの異なる椅子や、提灯を使ったスタンドライト、ガラスの特徴を活かした掲示板、昭和なラタンの棚を活かした小さなギャラリーなど、いろいろな作品が完成しました。
終盤は近所のみなさんも加わって、出来栄えに磨きをかけていました。高校生達の自由な発想や一所懸命な姿が、みなさんを動かしたのだと思います。
次は使ってみたり、発表したりというフェーズに入っていきます。
僕もこのプロジェクトを通して、高校生達に何を伝えたかったのか、振り返ってみたいと思います。

僕が独立して最初に手掛けたワインバーです。
新たなapéro aoyama に関われることをうれしく思います。10年の時を経て、自らの手でイメージを一新できたら嬉しいです！

Construction has begun in Minami-Aoyama.
In my first year in business, I worked on a wine bar called Aperoa.
I'm excited to be involved in the new apéro aoyama. Ten years have passed, and I'd love to be able to completely redesign it with my own hands!

「Hamlet」とは、小さな集落を意味します。
そのコンセプトを体現するように、大きさの異なる屋根が肩を寄せ合い、リズミカルに連なるファサード。
古くからそこにある集落のような、親しみやすい温かさを醸し出しています。
一方、内部に広がるのはその印象を裏切るダイナミックなワンルーム空間です。
分節されたように見えた屋根は一体的につながり、その高低差がもたらす多様な空間が隅々まで光で満たされています。
スタジオシュワリのコンセプトやデザインと、高桑ハウスの大工技術によって生まれたこの空間を、ぜひ体験してください。
