We are an architectural design firm based in Toyama City.
The theme is "A little strange ideas"
It's about looking at the everyday things we take for granted and the conditions of the site from a slightly different angle.
We strive to find the "questions" that exist and derive special "answers (spaces)" that are unique to each project.
L’ŒIL DE TOKYO Kichijoji
The concept is a "cultural fusion of Japan and France." It is an inviting space that beautifully harmonizes tatami benches, a color palette inspired by French paintings, and a terrazzo counter embedded with eyewear frames. EMO-HEN
In Inami, Nanto City, I led the "EMO-HEN" workshop, an initiative to upcycle dormant furniture from vacant homes and bring new scenery to the town. Working with high school students engaged in the creative process, I delivered a lecture focused on "The Second Life of Things." View more…
Local broadcast station
This is a renovation of the headquarters of a local television station, with each floor having its own unique theme. Each floor features a different design, such as a space for interaction open to the public and a work area with a variety of workspaces to choose from. This creates an environment that fosters co-creation and flexible working styles. View more …
