Steel Office
A former printing factory building was converted into an office for a steel-related company. We conducted detailed interviews regarding the daily work flow and traffic flow, and came up with the optimal zoning. A large opening was created on the west side of the building to allow for easy access to the existing construction work on the west side, and rest and community spaces were created that take advantage of the difference in elevation from the road surface, allowing smokers and non-smokers to coexist. These spaces are used not only for breaks during work, but also as spaces for employees to interact with each other and for leisure time after work.
The interior was self-built using commonly used materials such as steel plates and deck plates, following extensive discussions on design and technical aspects.
We analyzed the client's daily business operations and strengths, aiming to create a highly unique office space that could only be created by that company.
