This project involves the renovation of an office for a company located in Toyama City.Through careful interviews with employees, the project identified two key challenges: strengthening collaboration among the warehouse, sales assistants, sales, and delivery departments, and improving operational efficiency by centralizing the storage of previously scattered documents.To enhance communication both within and outside the company, a lounge area was newly established at the entrance, creating a space that fosters natural interactions.
The existing meeting room was relocated to a brighter and more spacious area, designed to offer both comfort and an appropriate level of privacy.The delivery preparation counter was custom-designed, with its shape and layout reconsidered to align with actual work processes.
The work area for sales assistants features partitions that facilitate concentration, while also providing generous desk space adjacent to the sales staff, allowing for casual meetings and collaboration.

In addition, a free-address system was introduced for the sales staff desks, promoting active information sharing and communication in an open office environment.The overall office design goes beyond mere spatial renovation; it was developed through a detailed analysis and understanding of daily workflows, ensuring the space truly supports employees’ work.All furniture pieces, including the reception counter and various desks, were custom-designed. While emphasizing functionality, the design also incorporates the soft textures of wood materials, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
