This is a project for a dental clinic with an integrated training facility, located in a residential neighborhood (a quasi-fire prevention district) in Toyama City.

We designed the building's exterior with undulating "pleats" to create a striking, iconic facade. Functionally, these pleats provide solar shading, ensure privacy, and prevent the spread of fire from adjacent properties.

The clinic area is located on the second floor. The interior is designed as a minimalist space with visual noise reduced to a minimum, aiming to create a soothing experience where patients can gently sense the shifting daylight and moving clouds during their treatments.

On the first floor, the training space features a garden, comfortable sofas, and a kitchen, providing an environment where staff can rest and learn in a relaxed, home-like atmosphere. The kitchen, equipped with a sink and induction cooktop, is intended to be the hub for staff communication and features a unique design distinct from standard residential kitchens.

Beyond the conventional design of a clinic, this project proposes a new type of workspace where both guests and staff can comfortably relax, learn, and work.

1階の研修スペースには庭やソファ、キッチンを配置し、住宅のようにリラックスした雰囲気で休憩や研修ができる環境を整えています。 シンクやIHなどの機能を備えたキッチンは、スタッフ間のコミュニケーションの中心となることを目指し、家庭用キッチンとは異なる独自性を持ったデザインとしています。

単なるクリニックのデザインというだけでなく、ゲストも働くスタッフもリラックスして休憩し、学び、働ける、新しいワークスペースを提示しています。
