OKADA DENTAL CLINIC
Interior design for a dental clinic located in Toyama City.
The building is a tenant with a large glass surface on the west side, so controlling privacy and blocking sunlight were issues.
By placing a specially processed fabric screen on the glass surface, light is indirectly let into the room, creating a treatment space filled with soft light. The screen's coloring is based on the theme color orange, and it serves as the face of the clinic when viewed from the outside.
In contrast to the bright and open examination area, the waiting area has a calm atmosphere, and the contrast between the two spaces is designed to create a sense of brightness and openness.
