L’ŒIL DE TOKYO 吉祥寺
The Kichijoji store of the eyewear brand, LʼŒIL DE TOKYO.The concept is a "cultural fusion of Japan and France." Aiming to create an inviting atmosphere akin to a friend's home where anyone can casually drop by, we incorporated tatami-lined showcases and benches at the facade to serve as a point of connection between the town and the store. This design acts as a welcoming catalyst, drawing in passersby and encouraging spontaneous communication. For the interior color scheme, we incorporated a palette inspired by a still-life painting by French artist Marthe Denat, which is exhibited within the store. Additionally, the large counter positioned at the center of the store is crafted using the "Terrazzo" technique and is uniquely embedded with signature eyewear frames from LʼŒIL DE TOKYO. We hope that here in Kichijoji, eyewear will serve as a medium to inspire unique human connections that can only be experienced in this space.
