Renovation of a Japanese and Western confectionery shop located in Tokoname City, Aichi Prefecture.

The existing factory and store buildings were covered with a continuous arch wall, giving the building a new look.

A counter has been placed to run through the previously separated sales and coffee corners, with a band of light layered with lace above it. This gently sways with changes in air currents, giving the space movement and elegance.

Behind the Japanese sweets counter located in one corner of the store, a wall is displayed with Japanese sweets molds collected by the previous generation, symbolizing the history of Carret, which began as a Japanese sweets shop.
