Cardboard Ring
The design of the Engames booth at the board game event "Game Market 2025 Spring" at Makuhari Messe in Chiba. The ring-shaped booth is 8 meters in diameter and made of cardboard, with a structure that allows it to be disassembled and reassembled. It is a sustainable plan that is designed to be portable and reusable. The booth was designed so that visitors could touch the board games directly from both inside and outside, creating a natural flow of visitors stopping by, picking them up, and experiencing them. Visitors could learn about the games as they played them, and if they wanted one, they could buy it right away. This booth was designed to connect the acts of touching, selecting, and buying into a single flow, creating a new "place of encounter" that softly bridges the boundary between exhibition and sales.
