Development Bank of Japan Inc. Toyama Office
Unlike general financial institutions that provide counter services, the Development Bank of Japan
It is a government-affiliated financial institution that focuses on building communities and creating the future through finance.
The office design was based on the concept of "Towards a bank that designs the future," and we aimed to create a design that would stimulate the design minds of visitors, provide a sense of relaxation for employees, and allow for flexible and universal use.
Upon opening the entrance door, visitors are greeted by a curved wall made from cedar wood from Toyama Prefecture.
The uneven color, texture, and scent of the cedar wood produced in the prefecture bring peace of mind to those who work there and those who visit.
A large sofa bench has been installed in the office space. This large, primitive bench, placed by the window, can be used in a variety of ways, such as pairing it with a table for work, pairing it with a low table for use as a sofa, or even as a raised area where you can take off your shoes.
We hope that this office space, which encourages free working styles, will give birth to new ideas and projects.
