Multipurpose DOMA house
A detached house in a residential area.
By placing a multipurpose dirt floor in the center of the building adjacent to various rooms such as the living, dining, kitchen, Japanese-style room, and study, it can be used in a variety of ways without being assigned a specific purpose, such as as an entrance hall under normal circumstances, a semi-outdoor space connected to the garden under other circumstances, a reception space connected to the Japanese-style room, or a meeting space connected to the study, and so on. This aims to enrich everyday life.
In addition, the stairwell and bookshelves have been combined to create a three-dimensional bookcase, creating a living, dining, and kitchen space where people can casually read during their daily lives.
The lighting plan employs a system that changes color temperature according to illuminance, making it possible to change the lighting environment to suit different lifestyles, from a warm space to a bright, active space.
