Showroom featuring pre-cut and general-purpose materials
A new construction plan for a showroom located on the roadside in Shizuoka Prefecture.
By using general-purpose materials and pre-cut techniques that are commonly used in residential construction, the wooden structure has been constructed at a lower cost than steel-frame construction, with a smaller environmental impact, and a unique space has been created. Taking advantage of the high degree of freedom that wooden structural frameworks offer, the building itself aims to be a tool for communicating the company's spirit and concept, in contrast to roadside commercial buildings that rely on large signboards. The interior is filled with symbolic wooden frameworks, creating an open, functional yet biophilic space.
