ローカルテレビ局の本社改修プロジェクト。放送局では多くの人が様々な部署で働き、その働き方も様々です。本計画では各部署毎のごとの特徴を読み解き、フロアごとに最適テーマを設定し、それらをもとに設計を進めました。

• 1F：既存のエントランスホールが持つ大空間の広がりを生かし、大型モニターと階段上のフロアが特徴的なオフィスのシンボル的な空間です。階段上のフロアにはミーティングスペースや共用の本棚などが配置され、その高低差を生かし、様々なイベントなどにも対応可能な設えとしています。社員同士はもちろん、外部のビジネスパートナーや市民との交流を通じて、新しい共創が生まれる場となることを目的としています。フロア内には各所にサイネージが設置され番組情報やイベント情報等を流しています。また奥の本棚には社員推薦の本を並べており、単なる働く場所ではなく、情報発信や社員間のコミュニケーションツールとしても活用されることを目指しました。

• 2F：⼀部フリーアドレスを取り⼊れたハイブリッドのワークスペース。日常　　的にフリーアドレスデスクとしながらレイアウト変更をせずにミーティングデスクとしても利用できサークル状のデスクを中心とし、その周囲に編集、美術など必要なデスクを機能的に配置しています。

• 3F：部署ごとにゾーンを分けながら、共用動線エリアにカウンター付きの家具を配置し、部署間の交流が生まれるような設えとしています。また、新館/旧館を分断していた廊下空間にチラシ等の情報を集約したカウンターを設け、新館/旧館の人の流れを緩やかに繋げる工夫もしています。

• 4F：会議の前にちょっとしたミーティングや休憩ができるベンチや、文具やペーパーなどの備品収納を、有機的な木製のルーバーによる一体的な家具としてデザインしています。

• 6F：ルーフトップガーデンをイメージ、植物を配したガーデンを点在さることで広くニュートラルな空間に緩やかに領域を生み出しています。⽴⼭連峰の眺望が美しいカウンター席、カフェのようなテーブル席、個室のミーティングルーム、ソファ席、足を伸ばせるデッキゾーン、簡単な調理も可能なキッチンカウンターなど、様々な場所をつくることで、働く人がその環境を自由に選択できるフロアを目指し、フリーアドレスでの執務のほか、ランチや休憩などのリフレッシュで使⽤したり、ミーティング、番組収録、社内イベントに使⽤したりと様々な⽤途での活用を想定しています。

これらの細やかな設計を実現させるために、トップインタビューから部署毎のインタビューなど、細やかなヒアリングや調査を実施し、そのフィードバックによりこれらフロアごとに異なる細やかなデザインを実現させています。

This renovation project for a local TV station's headquarters was designed with the understanding that a diverse group of people from various departments work in many different ways. We analyzed the unique characteristics of each department and set an optimal theme for each floor, which guided the design process.

• 1F: This floor is the symbolic heart of the office, leveraging the spaciousness of the existing entrance hall. It features a large monitor and a distinctive stepped floor. The tiered area includes meeting spaces and a communal bookshelf. Its different levels make it adaptable for a variety of events, fostering a space where employees can interact with each other, as well as with external business partners and the public, to create new collaborations. Digital signage is installed throughout the floor to display program and event information, and the bookshelf holds books recommended by employees, transforming the area from a simple workspace into a hub for information sharing and communication.

• 2F: This is a hybrid workspace that incorporates a partial free-address system. The layout, centered around circular desks, can be used for both daily free-address work and meetings without needing to be rearranged. Desks for departments like editing and art are functionally arranged around the central desks.

• 3F: While departmental zones are separated, furniture with counters is placed in common circulation areas to encourage inter-departmental interaction. We also created a counter in the corridor that previously divided the new and old buildings to consolidate information like flyers, a thoughtful design choice to gently connect the flow of people between the two sections.

• 4F: Before meetings, people can use benches for quick huddles or breaks. The storage for office supplies and paper is designed as an integrated piece of furniture with organic wooden louvers, providing both function and a cohesive aesthetic.

• 6F: This floor is inspired by a rooftop garden, with scattered plant gardens that subtly create distinct areas within a large, neutral space. It aims to be a floor where employees can freely choose their environment, offering a variety of settings: counter seats with a beautiful view of the Tateyama mountain range, cafe-style tables, private meeting rooms, sofa seating, a deck area to stretch out, and a kitchen counter for simple cooking. It is designed for various uses, including free-address work, refreshing during lunch or breaks, meetings, program recordings, and company events.

To realize this detailed design, we conducted thorough research and interviews, from top executives to individual departments. The feedback from these sessions allowed us to achieve the intricate, floor-specific designs you see here.
